AI FABRIC INSPECTION ATTACHMENT · PRODUCT C
A retrofit AI vision system for factories that want to automate fabric inspection without replacing an existing manual inspection or stenter machine. It adds multi-camera inspection, defect tagging and digital quality records to the equipment already on the floor.

Manual inspection is dependent on concentration and individual experience. When defects are missed, the factory loses the opportunity to intervene before shipment and has little quality data to learn from.
This attachment adds an AI vision layer to an existing inspection or stenter machine. It captures the fabric, identifies and tags defects, records their location and gives operators a clear inspection record for review, confirmation and reporting.
HOW IT WORKS
01
Industrial cameras and controlled lighting capture the moving fabric across the inspection width.
02
The AI model evaluates images, flags defect conditions and records their position for operator confirmation.
03
The inspection record can support defect maps, reporting and continuous model improvement as new labelled samples are introduced.
WHAT THE ATTACHMENT ADDS
01
Multi-camera vision checks the moving fabric at up to 60 metres per minute in the supplied product information.
02
Detected events can be tagged and located to support operator review, manual re-inspection and optional marking or labelling.
03
Defect maps, inspection reports and cloud-based management create an auditable quality context beyond a manual check.
04
The modular attachment is intended for integration with an existing manual inspection or stenter machine.
05
Machine-learning workflows and over-the-air updates support improvement of defect recognition over time.
06
The supplied material describes open API capability for connection to ERP or MES; scope should be confirmed for each project.
60 m/min
documented maximum inspection speed
≥85%
documented overall defect-detection accuracy
0.1 mm

documented missed-detection rate
WHERE IT FITS
The attachment is positioned for woven, knitted, home-textile and denim fabrics, where a factory wants a more consistent inspection process without investing in a replacement inspection line.
Project configuration should cover fabric width, machine route, camera layout, lighting, required defect types, workflow for operator confirmation and whether a marking, labelling or system-integration option is required.
